Digital Shelf Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Shelf Analyst to support the Digital Commerce team by maintaining and optimizing digital product content across major retailer websites and online marketplaces. This role is responsible for managing product information within a Product Information Management (PIM) platform, ensuring data accuracy, improving digital shelf performance, and developing scalable workflows that increase operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working with product data, enjoys solving process challenges, and is comfortable managing large datasets while collaborating across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage digital shelf performance across retailer websites and marketplaces by ensuring product content is complete, accurate, and successfully syndicated.
• Maintain product catalog integrity within the Product Information Management (PIM) platform and related digital commerce systems.
• Build, optimize, and maintain automated workflows, business rules, and data models to improve operational efficiency.
• Design, document, and implement new processes that streamline digital shelf operations.
• Monitor product content quality and identify opportunities to improve content completeness and overall digital shelf performance.
• Configure and maintain retailer publication channels and ensure successful content delivery.
• Conduct regular audits of retailer websites to verify content accuracy and compliance with evolving retailer requirements.
• Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards to measure digital shelf performance.
• Partner with IT, Data, Marketing, eCommerce, and other cross-functional teams to improve product data quality and operational processes.
• Train internal stakeholders on digital shelf processes, best practices, and system functionality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce Operations, Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Shelf, Product Data Management, or a related field.
• Hands-on expertise with Salsify, including:
• Complex formulas
• Data modeling
• Workflow development
• Product catalog management
• Experience managing large product datasets with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• Pivot Tables
• Formulas
• Charts
• Data analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive projects independently and improve existing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Profitero or other Digital Shelf Analytics platforms.
