Role: Change Management Consultant (ERP Implementation – Retail)
Location: Carlsbad, CA (Hybrid: On-site 3–4 days/week)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Change Management Consultant to support a major ERP implementation initiative within the retail sector. This is a full-time, project-based engagement for a minimum of six months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in organizational change management (OCM), strong ERP implementation experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus), and a solid understanding of the unique challenges of the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to drive user adoption and minimize resistance.
• Partner closely with project leadership, functional teams, and business stakeholders to assess change impacts and readiness. Assess change impact and readiness across departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Product Development).
• Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, including communications, training strategy, and sponsorship alignment.
• Design and deliver change interventions, including workshops, coaching, and performance support tools.
• Monitor and report on change progress, adoption metrics, and feedback loops to adjust strategies as needed. Identify and manage resistance and risks related to change.
• Serve as a key advisor on change best practices and integrate change management with the overall ERP project plan.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, with a focus on ERP implementations.
• Availability to work on-site in Carlsbad, CA 3–4 days per week (hybrid arrangement).
• Strong knowledge of OCM methodologies; Prosci, ACMP, ADKAR, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting retail clients through large-scale change initiatives.
• Hands-on ERP project experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and align cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management expertise with familiarity in Agile, Lean, or other delivery frameworks.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools a plus.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
• MBA preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
