We are seeking a highly skilled Chatbot Engineer with expertise in Java, AWS, and Amazon Lex to design, develop, and maintain intelligent chatbot solutions. This role involves working on complex conversational AI implementations, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring the smooth deployment of chatbot services. Key Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and optimize chatbot and conversational services using Amazon Lex and AWS technologies. • Implement smooth, automated deployments through AWS and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define chatbot requirements, user flows, and integrations with backend systems. • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and related frameworks. • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support chatbot functionality. • Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Mentor and support junior engineers in skill development and technical problem-solving. • Stay current with Generative AI advancements and integrate relevant innovations (e.g., GitHub Copilot) into development workflows. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize chatbot performance, ensuring a seamless end-user experience. Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience in chatbot development with Amazon Lex and AWS services. • Strong Java expertise, including frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate. • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and deployment automation. • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (for chatbot UI components). • Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). • Understanding of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium). • Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
