Job Description
• Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.
• Independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Document the experimentation per the regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core scientific discipline.
• Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters.
• Ensures safety requirements are met when performing tasks.
• Ensures timely delivery of high-quality precise data.
• Applies basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument related systems.
• Presents findings of defined experiments to larger audiences.
Requirements/Qualifications Required
• BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with minimum 5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or Master’s degree with 0- 2 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
• Experienced use of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, dissolution, KF and chromatography data systems (i.e., Empower, Openlab, or Chromeleon).
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity of GMP, GLP. Able to present experimental findings to larger groups.
