Job Title: Cloud Developer (AWS)
Location: West Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Summary: Client seeks one Cloud Developer to support its Enterprise IT Solutions & Innovation Division.
• The position requires detailed AWS cloud development expertise.
• The contract term is up to 12 months, extendable by 24 months.
• Work is primarily on-site in West Sacramento, CA (2 3 days/week hybrid, subject to change).
• Services will be billed hourly
Minimum technical requirements:
• 3 5 years AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM).
• 3 5 years CI/CD tools (GitHub, version control workflows).
• 3+ years IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• 3 5 years Web App Development (REST APIs + Python/Node.js/C#).
• 3+ years Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• 3 5 years Databases (SQL & NoSQL).
• 3 5 years Security/Compliance (Encryption, Secrets Manager, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2)
Preferred / desirable requirements:
• AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge.
• Legacy system migrations to AWS.
• Cost optimization (AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor).
• Automated compliance/security enforcement (Config, Security Hub, Lambda).
• Centralized logging (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk).
• Scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• AI/ML cloud services (SageMaker, multi-cloud experience).
• Hybrid on-site 2 3 days/week at HQ (non-scored)
