This is a 6-9+ month contract to hire position located in Brookfield, WI. Job Responsibilities • Design cloud solutions using Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Scale Sets, Azure VDI, etc. • Implement and deploy cloud solutions using Terraform pipelines, PowerShell, CLI, or other tools. • Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure. • Op ti mize and troubleshoot cloud solutions for performance, scalability, security, and reliability. • Establish monitoring and management capabilities for cloud resources using Azure policies, tags, alerts, dashboards, and logs. • Create virtual networks with efficient performance and security to handle workloads. • Provide technical leadership to developers. Job Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in cloud, design, support, and troubleshoo ti ng. • 5+ years of hands-on experience Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies. • Hands on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, VDI, Scale Sets, and load balancing. • Hands on experience deploying cloud assets using Terraform pipelines. • Strong understanding of IP subne tti ng, Network Security Groups, routi ng, Azure Firewall, load balancing, DNS, and other network protocols. • Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns, principles, and best prac ti ces. • Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance. • Strong knowledge of Azure networking and connec t ivity op t ions, including VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and load balancing. • Hands on experience with administra ti ve scrip ti ng using PowerShell or Azure CLI is highly desirable. • Hands on experience running VMWare virtual machines in Azure is highly desirable. • Excellent communication on and interpersonal skills.
