Job title: Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer II (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid 2–3 Days Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3-week on-call rotation Pay rate: $60–$75/hour (W2) Contract length: Contract-to-Hire, Conversion in ~6–12 Months About the role: We are seeking a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer II to design, administer, and optimize a hybrid IT environment across on-premise and cloud platforms. This role manages server infrastructure, cloud services, storage systems, and endpoint management, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, automation, and performance monitoring. The position also supports cloud cost analysis, disaster recovery, and infrastructure migrations, working closely with networking and security teams. Key responsibilities:
Administer Microsoft Azure environments; lead design, deployment, and resource planning
Perform cloud cost analysis for infrastructure planning and quoting
Manage Windows Server, Hyper-V virtualization, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Administer MDM platforms (Intune, Mosyle, Hexnode) and perform server patching/upgrades
Maintain storage systems (Dell EMC Unity, Pure Storage) and backup systems (Rubrik)
Support automation platforms (JAMS, PowerShell) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Insights)
Coordinate with security/network teams on infrastructure requirements and projects
Provide after-hours support on rotation and senior-level troubleshooting
Maintain documentation and support migrations across web, application, and database servers
Required qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience
Proven Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience
Proficiency with Windows Server OS, AD, Group Policy, Hyper-V
Familiarity with NAS/SAN (Dell EMC Unity, Pure Storage)
Experience with Rubrik, MDM platforms, and PowerShell scripting
Knowledge of JAMS or similar automation tools
Experience with Datadog, Azure Application Insights
Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications preferred
