Senior Kubernetes / AWS Engineer Our client is currently seeking a Kubernetes/AWS Enthusiast to join their team on a consulting basis. About the Role: Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS. • Develop and enforce best practices for cloud infrastructure and container orchestration. • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Must-Have Requirements: • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and AWS. • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration. • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to lead and mentor a team. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments. • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure). • Background in DevOps and SRE principles.
