Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer 12+ Months Contract Remote Role About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing complex cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in designing and optimizing our cloud platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability across enterprise-level systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, Software Engineering, and Product Management to lead cloud transformation initiatives and enforce best practices in cloud engineering. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: • 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or a related field. • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience is a plus. • Strong experience with IaC, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Technical Skills: • Expert in Linux/Unix system administration. • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Familiar with networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, VPCs, Load Balancers). • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.). • Soft Skills: • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Leadership qualities and ability to drive cloud strategies across teams. Preferred Certifications • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
