Our client needs to hire a Cloud Engineer for a contract-to-hire, hybrid position. Contract duration is for 6 months. Required Experience/Skills: Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 5–10 years of relevant professional experience. • A combination of education, certifications, and over 5 years of applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Required Skills and Experience: • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 migrations. • Strong proficiency in advanced PowerShell scripting. • Deep understanding of SQL databases. • Advanced knowledge of ADFS, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 authentication mechanisms. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. • Ability to think strategically and analyze complex technical information independently. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate and timely results. • Experience working in diverse, multi-platform environments. • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Microsoft Purview and Defender security and compliance tools, such as: • Entra ID Conditional Access and MFA • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) • eDiscovery • Data Retention and Information Protection • Defender for Identity and Defender for Endpoint • Experience migrating data and services from legacy systems (e.g., file servers, Confluence) to SharePoint Online. • Experience with configuration, deployment, and management of Windows, macOS, and iOS devices using hybrid and modern MDM solutions, including MECM and Microsoft Intune.
