Role description
I am hiring for Cloud Engineer – Fraud Detection (AWS, Data bricks)
Location: Northampton - Hybrid / 2-3 days Per week in Office
• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly cloud-native databases, relational data stores, and caching technologies.
• Experience working with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in Node.js development on AWS.
• Solid backend development experience using Java.
• Hands-on experience building and operating microservices-based distributed systems, including service orchestration and inter-service communication.
• Strong focus on performance, scalability, and code quality, with an emphasis on clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• CI/CD experience using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Good understanding of secure development practices, data protection principles, and experience working in regulated environments.
• Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and automated testing using frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, PyTest, etc.
