Role description
Title - Cloud Engineer (Full Stack) location: Remote Duration: 12 Months (Potential Multi year Contract) Key responsibilities :· Leverage AWS services and APIs to create cloud native application s· Design, build, and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant architectures leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, while meeting and maintaining security requirement s· Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assuranc e· Create threat models, user guides, software architecture models, and other security-related documentatio n· Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure across multiple production and development AWS accounts, including networking, compute, monitoring and securit y· Investigate and resolve cloud-related issues, providing technical support and root cause analysi s· Manage access to cloud infrastructure for team members, as well as other external teams and contractor s· Maintain technical expertise on relevant industry standards and in cloud computin g· Work collaboratively with project managers, external teams and stakeholder s· Potential ability to travel both domestically and internationally – 25 % About the te amThe vision of the Operations Excellence team is to design and activate predictive mechanisms for that create safe, secure, and frustration-free experiences for our Operators, vendors, and fellow Amazonians. We design new processes for our Operators, vendors, and fellow Amazonians with built-in quality on day on e.Basic Qualification s:· Bachelor's degr ee· 3+ years of experience using A WS· Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Go, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Python, etc.) or shell scripting language (POSIX shell/Bash, PowerShell, etc .)· Experience working with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch, K MS· Strong understanding of cloud and network security, particularly around cloud services and web applications/AP Is· Experience provisioning cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormati on· Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeli ne· Experience using Git for source code version contr ol· AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certificati onPreferred Qualification s:· Advanced degr ee· Experience in AWS serverless deployment using AWS C DK· Familiar with IAM protocols such as SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OpenID and OAu th· Experience designing and deploying REST APIs
