Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Windows infrastructure and networking expertise to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you'll work closely with our development teams to deploy and maintain the tools they build, while also partnering with third-party medical application vendors to architect and implement infrastructure solutions that meet their specific requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge in load balancing, networking, and Windows system administration, combined with the ability to translate complex vendor requirements into robust cloud infrastructure designs. Experience in healthcare IT environments and understanding of compliance requirements like HIPAA is valuable, as you'll be working with systems that handle sensitive patient data. Key Responsibilities Vendor Infrastructure Integration: Work directly with third-party medical application vendors to understand, design, and implement infrastructure requirements for their healthcare solutions in our cloud environment Development Tool Support: Deploy, configure, and maintain tools and applications built by our development teams, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance Load Balancing Architecture: Design and implement advanced load balancing solutions using AWS ALB, NetScaler, and other technologies to ensure high availability and optimal traffic distribution Network Design & Troubleshooting: Architect and maintain complex network topologies, including hybrid cloud connectivity, VPN configurations, and secure communication channels between on premises and cloud environments Windows Infrastructure Management: Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory integration, and PowerShell automation for infrastructure tasks High Availability Design: Implement fault-tolerant architectures and disaster recovery strategies for critical healthcare applications Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune infrastructure components with focus on network throughput, load balancer efficiency, and overall system performance Security Implementation: Ensure all infrastructure meets healthcare security standards and HIPAA compliance requirements Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, vendor integration guides, and operational procedures MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - All Required Load Balancing Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise load balancers (AWS ALB, FS, NetScaler, or similar), including complex routing rules, SSL/TLS configuration, and performance tuning Networking Proficiency: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
