Role description
Role- Cloud Engineer III Location- Brentwood, TN Job Description: Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, or associated infrastructures. Job Duties: Analyses and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards; proposes and develops solutions. Deploys and oversees implementation and integration of web-based applications, ensuring that appropriate information security standards are met. Maintains reports, logs, or other records of security audits. Monitors system uptime and performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors. Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates their value to the organization's operations. Typically requires experience with one or more cloud computing platforms. Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. FISMA High specific: β€’ Provide subject matter technical knowledge and analysis to support functional technical areas of a project specifically in the area of FISMA β€’ Familiarity with cloud environments and comprehensive understanding of NIST 800-53 controls. β€’ Ability to translate NIST 800-53 control requirements to implemented solutions β€’ Proficiency in Security tools, such as Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Qualys, ArcSight, or similar β€’ Familiarity with Incident Response Required Skills: Cloud general: Significant experience with core AWS services (particularly GovCloud), e.g. EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Inspector, VPC services (Transit Gateways, VPNs, etc.).
