Location: Harrisburg, PA Position Type: Mostly Remote Hybrid Schedule: Onsite as needed Contract Length: 1 year We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to oversee hybrid environments, focusing primarily on AWS (70%) and Azure (30%) along with supporting on-premises data centers. This role demands strong technical expertise in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, security, and OS management across Linux and Windows platforms. Required Skills: β€’ 5 years of proven experience managing AWS and Azure cloud environments. β€’ Strong knowledge of on-premises data center infrastructure. β€’ Expertise in both Linux and Windows operating systems. β€’ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. β€’ Familiarity with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, Copilot, Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins. β€’ Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS. β€’ Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles. Preferred Skills: β€’ Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator/Architect. β€’ Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Duties: β€’ Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage AWS environments for high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency. β€’ Support and contribute to Azure cloud deployments and effective multi-cloud management. β€’ Implement and manage hybrid-cloud infrastructure solutions connecting on-prem and cloud systems. β€’ Troubleshoot network issues including VPN, firewall, security groups, and logging configurations. β€’ Support and troubleshoot on-premises servers and hybrid cloud network connectivity. β€’ Maintain and support Active Directory services. β€’ Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for hybrid environments. β€’ Manage Linux and Windows servers, ensuring performance, stability, and security compliance. β€’ Resolve OS-level issues and support Windows clustering and SQL-related infrastructure. β€’ Develop scripts and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management. β€’ Create dashboards and implement monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and performance. β€’ Configure and manage security policies, groups, and permissions across cloud environments. β€’ Ensure infrastructure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies. β€’ Collaborate with application and database teams to align infrastructure with business needs. β€’ Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and incident responses thoroughly.
