Trident Consulting is seeking a "Cloud Engineer" for one of our client in Charlotte, NC. A global leader in business and technology services. Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC Job Type: Contract Job Summary: • The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills with extensive experience in AWS services • Experience building and configuring automated systems with AWS Event Bridge • Experience using Athena for querying S3 buckets • Experience working with APIs and data extraction techniques • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities • Bachelor’s degree in computer science\Computer Information Systems or 10 years of applicable development experience. • 10+ years of experience with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Aurora Postgres, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3 and SSM • 7 years (SQL/Python) writing advanced SQL in PostgreSQL including functions, SPROCs and views • 3-4 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins. • 3-4 years of experience writing and aggregating logs in AWS CloudWatch • 3-4 years of experience developing with PowerShell • Demonstrated experience delivering validated software products, including standard SDLC documentation and testing deliverables Top 3 Must Haves: 1. Extensive AWS knowledge (Lambda, S3, Glue/ETL, Athena, Step Functions, Aurora, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc) 1. Terraform 1.
