📌 Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – Multi-Cloud & FinOps 📍 Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30346 🗓️ Schedule: Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite ⏳ Type: 6 Month Ongoing Contract, Likely Extension / Conversion 📝 Summary: Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This role emphasizes FinOps principles, ensuring cost-effective and accountable cloud operations. You’ll be a key contributor on project teams, mentoring junior engineers and driving scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. 🎓 Education & Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's Required, Master's Preferred • 7+ years of progressive experience in cloud technologies 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure with business needs • Lead IaC development and CI/CD pipeline enhancements • Monitor and optimize cloud spend, enforce tagging standards, and generate cost reports • Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and industry standards • Provide advanced troubleshooting and incident response for cloud-related issues • Maintain documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team ✅ Must-Have Skills: • Proven expertise in multi-cloud or hybrid environments • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell) • Deep understanding of cloud networking (VPC, security groups, VPN, Transit Gateways, etc.) • Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud spend analysis • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading Tier 3 support efforts • Multi-cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) • IaC proficiency (Terraform, CloudFormation) • CI/CD and DevOps methodologies • Cloud security and compliance frameworks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • FinOps mindset with cost optimization experience ⭐ Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Aviatrix and advanced cloud networking • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture patterns • Leadership in mentoring and documentation practices • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
