Role description
My client is a global healthcare technology organization operating at a large scale across diagnostics and digital health platforms. Their cloud systems support millions of diagnostic tests daily and are used by healthcare providers worldwide to make critical clinical decisions.
This role sits within a high-impact diagnostics and infectious disease organization focused on building and scaling cloud-based SaaS platforms. You will serve as a hands-on technical leader, contributing to architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering highly reliable cloud services in a regulated healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
β’ Design and build cloud native services for global healthcare platforms
β’ Develop high volume low latency APIs and distributed systems
β’ Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and data teams
β’ Mentor engineers and lead technical problem-solving efforts
β’ Contribute to platform architecture scalability and reliability
β’ Build internal tools and automation to improve engineering efficiency
β’ Ensure systems meet security performance and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
β’ Principal-level software engineering experience or equivalent advanced degree experience
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems
β’ Experience with identity and access management platforms such as Azure AD Entra ID or Okta
β’ Experience with CI CD pipelines and REST API development
β’ Strong experience with Azure services, including Kubernetes App Services Functions API Gateway storage and data services
β’ Linux experience and strong database fundamentals with SQL-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience mentoring or leading senior engineering efforts
β’ Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or life sciences
