About the Role
Design, deploy, and maintain reliable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure within OVH and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Bridge operations and development by ensuring scalability, automation, and smooth application deployments.
What we're looking for:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with cloud operations, preferably in OVHcloud and/or Google Cloud
• Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and network fundamentals (VPC, DNS, load balancing, VPNs)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, OVH Managed Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Google Cloud Monitoring)
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation
• Experience with security best practices in the cloud (IAM, secrets management, compliance frameworks)
What you'll do
• Manage and operate OVHcloud and/or Google Cloud (GCP) infrastructure and services
• Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment in collaboration with development teams
• Monitor infrastructure availability, reliability, and performance using logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Google Cloud Monitoring, OVH Metrics)
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies across cloud environments
• Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency within OVH and GCP projects
• Troubleshoot cloud networking, compute, and storage-related issues
• Work closely with SecOps to apply cloud security best practices (IAM, firewall rules, VPC, encryption)
• Stay current with cloud technology trends, new OVH and GCP services, and recommend adoption when valuable
