BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Collateral Reporting Business Analyst for an opportunity in Chicago, IL!
Job Title: Collateral Reporting Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC 28209
Duration: 9-month contract
Pay rate: $45/hr. on W2
Anticipated start date: ASAP
The Collateral Reporting, Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the collateral management function by analyzing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and operations to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful collateral reporting that supports both the collateral specialists and the management team. The Business Analyst will create interim reporting as we wait for long-term solutions to be put in place.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for collateral reporting processes and systems.
β’ Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc collateral reports for internal stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with operations teams to design and implement interim reporting solutions and data enhancements.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within collateral management, risk, or financial services.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
β’ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Experience with collateral management systems and financial products is a plus.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
β’ Familiarity with project management principles.
