Job Title: Compliance & Data Specialist (Business Analyst)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103- Hybrid
Duration: 12-month Contract (possibility to extend)
Pay Rate: Pay Range: $32-$34/hr on w2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Compliance & Data Specialist to support the regulatory compliance process by handling customer complaint intakes and assisting with data interpretation and departmental routing based on state commission responses. This role involves high-volume data intake, accurate decision tracking, and efficient coordination across departments to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and intake 70β100 customer complaints per hour, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in logging and routing.
Interpret and process decisions from the Public Utility Commission (PUC) and ensure accurate entry into internal systems.
Route PUC decisions to the appropriate internal departments for resolution.
Assist in tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly regarding response time and compliance metrics.
Extract and analyze large data sets to support compliance reporting and performance tracking.
Provide responses or summaries related to compliance inquiries and regulatory issues.
Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory expectations and ensure internal processes meet compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of professional experience in a data entry, compliance, or administrative support role (utilities or regulatory experience is a plus).
Experience working with large data sets and tools like Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VLOOKUP is preferred.
Ability to extract and interpret data efficiently and accurately.
Familiarity with compliance documentation and responding to regulatory issues.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Experience with CCNB (Customer Care & Billing platform) is a strong plus.
Education:
Bachelorβs degree is preferred but not required.
