As a Consulting Manager, you will lead clients through complex business challenges by delivering strategic solutions and driving impactful outcomes. Youβll manage end-to-end project execution, build trusted client relationships, and guide teams through every phase of delivery. This 12-month contract role requires full-time availability and on-site presence in Emeryville, CA.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead the delivery of large, complex workstreams from initiation to completion.
β’ Translate business challenges into actionable strategies through data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Identify operational inefficiencies and risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
β’ Conduct data analysis and build business cases to support strategic decisions.
β’ Design and present compelling, executive-level presentations.
β’ Facilitate workshops to uncover insights and co-create solutions.
β’ Develop data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and align with organizational goals.
β’ Manage detailed project plans, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with client expectations.
β’ Foster long-term client relationships through consistent value delivery and advisory support.
Qualifications
β’ 4+ years in management consulting, with a focus on technology and process optimization.
β’ Proven experience in digital transformation, including vendor selection, solution deployment, program management, and change management.
β’ Focus on process optimization, with hands-on experience developing and implementing process playbooks
β’ Demonstrated success leading workstreams and delivering measurable results.
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
β’ Strong project management skills with expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
β’ Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Creative thinker with a track record of innovative problem-solving.
β’ Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
β’ Willingness to be on-site with clients 3 days per week (typically in the Bay Area).
β’ Bachelorβs degree required; MBA preferred.
