Job Description β€’ Shift:1st M-F 9-5 2 days week in office (flexibility) β€’ Consumer Insight analyst supports the Taste Business by utilizing and converting complex internal and external data into intelligence that can be utilized to support business and innovation. β€’ Work with a global corporate strategy team to leverage a wide array of consumer, market and sensory data sources available. β€’ Will be assigned topical projects that will involve extracting and cleaning data, conducting analytics, and derivation of insights to achieve business goals. Qualifications β€’ High School Diploma Required β€’ Associate's or Bachelor's preferred β€’ Math and Statistics Proficiency β€’ STEM backgrounds β€’ Researching of Data β€’ Skilled in using advanced features of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. β€’ Familiarity with more advanced data analysis tools such as PowerBI, SAS/JMP, SPSS, R, etc. β€’ Willing to dive deep into data and extract information from market intelligence databases like Mintel, EuroMonitor, Neilsen etc. β€’ Able to translate this data into meaningful intelligence and propose business actions as needed. β€’ A strong interest and background in food and beverage markets, as well as an interest in learning market research, consumer research, sensory research and understanding and modelling human perception. β€’ 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis, insights, or similar role Benefits Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
