• Purpose of the Team: This team creates AI‑generated content and conducts evaluations within the Office Shared Organization (OSO), supporting AI content experiments across the larger OSOPG group.
• Key projects: The role will focus on Content Curation Strategist to shape the content experiences customers encounter across Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Create, and emerging Copilot experiences.

• This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, visual design, data analytics, and customer insight. The ideal candidate combines exceptional visual judgment with strong analytical capabilities to identify content patterns, evaluate performance trends, uncover opportunities, and recommend curation strategies that improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Beyond selecting and organizing high-quality content, this individual will leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to influence content investments, guide experimentation, inform roadmap priorities, and tell the story behind content performance. Success in this role requires the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations while maintaining a deep understanding of design excellence, content quality, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Curation
• Curate and optimize content collections across Microsoft 365 experiences, ensuring customers receive the most relevant, engaging, and high-performing content.
• Evaluate content quality, design effectiveness, relevance, diversity, and customer value across multiple content types and product surfaces.
• Identify gaps, opportunities, and emerging trends to inform future content investments and curation priorities.
• Develop scalable curation frameworks, quality standards, and content evaluation methodologies.
Data Analysis & Insights
• Analyze content performance metrics, customer engagement signals, experimentation results, and usage trends to understand what drives successful customer outcomes.
• Synthesize large datasets into clear recommendations that influence content strategy, business decisions, and product priorities.
• Establish success criteria and measurable KPIs for content initiatives and curation programs.
• Use data to identify optimization opportunities and inform content lifecycle decisions.
Experimentation & Optimization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and evaluate content experiments.
• Design and assess experimentation frameworks that measure content effectiveness and customer impact.
• Translate experiment outcomes into evidence-based recommendations that improve engagement, adoption, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Continuously iterate on curation strategies using performance insights and customer feedback.
Visual Quality & Design Excellence
• Apply strong visual design judgment to assess content quality, composition, storytelling, usability, and customer appeal.
• Recognize patterns in successful designs, layouts, templates, imagery, and creative assets.
• Evaluate content through both creative and analytical lenses, balancing visual excellence with measurable performance outcomes.
• Maintain a high standard for content quality while supporting diversity in design approaches, formats, and customer scenarios.
• Storytelling & Stakeholder Influence
• Transform complex data findings and content insights into compelling narratives for leadership, product teams, designers, and content partners.
• Create strategic recommendations supported by both quantitative evidence and qualitative observations.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders by communicating the business impact of content investments and curation decisions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Communications, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in content strategy, content curation, product strategy, design research, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data and translating insights into recommendations that drive business or customer outcomes.
• Hands-on experience using CMS tools to curate, organize, and publish content collections.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, content quality evaluation, layout composition, and customer-centered design.
• Experience working with dashboards, performance metrics, reporting tools, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to combine analytical thinking with strong creative judgment.

• Experience supporting digital content ecosystems, content marketplaces, creative platforms, or productivity software products.

• Experience partnering with design, content, product, and business stakeholders.
