Content Manager - AI Database Developer Relations Location: Remote Contract Length: 6 months Hours: 37.5 per week Pay: Negotiable Overview We are seeking an experienced Content Manager - AI Database DevRel to lead the creation of high-impact technical video content and demos focused on modern AI database technologies. This role is ideal for someone who excels at technical storytelling and enjoys translating complex concepts-such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, and large language model (LLM) integrations-into engaging, developer-focused multimedia content. You will play a key role in shaping video strategy, producing demos and walkthroughs, and supporting developer engagement and community growth through compelling visual narratives. Key Responsibilities • Own and curate a content calendar with a strong focus on video and demo assets • Script, produce, and edit technical videos (e.g. step-by-step RAG demos, vector search walkthroughs, LLM integration tutorials) using tools such as Camtasia or similar • Collaborate closely with engineers, developer advocates, and demo creators to ensure technical accuracy and depth • Optimise video content for discoverability using SEO best practices, captions, and accessibility standards • Analyse performance metrics (views, engagement, watch time) and iterate content based on analytics and community feedback • Promote video content across developer platforms, video channels, and social media • Support live and in-person events (e.g. Tech Days, Hackathons) with tailored demo videos, QR-linked resources, and recorded sessions Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in communications, film production, marketing, or a related field • 4+ years' experience in video content creation, technical demos, or developer-focused media (ideally within tech or AI environments) • Strong storytelling and editing skills tailored to technical and developer audiences • Proficiency with video editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent • Ability to visualise and simplify complex AI or database concepts through demos • Experience producing B2B technical content and working with metrics-driven optimisation • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and inclusive content practices Why Apply? • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and database technologies • Fully remote working • Fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong technical influence • Competitive, negotiable pay on a 6-month contract Randstad Business Support is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
