Business Analyst with Hospital / Laboratory Domain exp Norristown PA (Remote) Long Term Contract Must Have Experience: β€’ Business Analyst coming from Healthcare Provider (Lab or Hospital) or coming from Clinical Diagnostic background. β€’ Experience with EHR systems (Electronic or Data dealing with patients) β€’ Experience with Order Data β€’ Experience with HL7 standards ( Standardized Message formats, Interoperability, Data Exchange, Application Layer, Common Message Types.) β€’ Experience working with Business Teams & Groups β€’ 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, with at least 5 years in a healthcare provider setting. β€’ Good communication skills Job Summary: β€’ We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with strong experience in the Healthcare Provider industry to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business units, clinical departments, and the IT department to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for IT solutions. This role plays a key part in improving clinical workflows, patient care, and operational efficiencies through technology. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders including clinicians, IT teams to gather and document business and system requirements. β€’ Analyze current processes and workflows within the healthcare setting (e.g., EHR, patient scheduling etc.) to identify areas for improvement. β€’ Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams. β€’ Work closely with developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements. β€’ Facilitate and support testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT), system testing, and integration testing. β€’ Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, and other applicable policies. β€’ Support the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and integration with ancillary systems. β€’ Act as a liaison during the software selection, procurement, and deployment processes. β€’ Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and manage stakeholder expectations. β€’ Conduct training sessions and prepare user documentation as needed. Experience: β€’ 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, with at least 5 years in a healthcare provider setting. β€’ Strong understanding of healthcare provider workflows, including clinical operations, and compliance. β€’ Experience working with EHR/EMR systems. β€’ Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data exchange standards. Skills: β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. β€’ Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and business process modeling software. β€’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
