Role description
Rapidly-growing digital transformation consultancy urgently seek a Senior Data Engineer on an OUTSIDE IR35 six months contract. You will join a talented client-facing engineering team tasked with delivering a new cloud-based data platform (Databricks on AWS) to a Travel client.
Contract details:
• Location: Edinburgh, Scotland.
• Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on client-site in Edinburgh.
• Determination: OUTSIDE IR35.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Day Rate: £475-£525 outside IR35.
• Start Date: By no later than Monday 13th October 2025.
As a Senior Data Engineer you will have commercial experience of the following:
• Databricks on AWS
• PySpark and Python
• Apache Airflow
• Building and maintaining data pipelines
• Data analysis
• Generic data modelling
• Kimball modelling (Star Schemas)
It is also essential you posses strong communication and stakeholder management skills gathered from your previous experience in a client-facing role within IT professional services.
