cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Copilot Engineer/Specialist to work with them on a contract.
The responsibilities of the Copilot Engineer/Specialist will have:
• Lead the technical implementation of Microsoft Copilot solutions across Microsoft 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and other platforms.
• Design and configure secure, scalable, and compliant Copilot deployments tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure readiness for production rollout.
• Architect and implement integrations between Copilot and enterprise systems to enable contextual, intelligent experiences.
• Support development and management of custom Copilot extensions and agents using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI.
• Ensure interoperability across the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Security Copilot.
• Define and enforce governance standards for Copilot usage, data access, and prompt management.
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage permissions, data boundaries, and responsible AI practices.
• Own the lifecycle of Copilot solutions post-launch, including monitoring, optimisation, and support.
• Track adoption, performance, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and support for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Copilot technologies, advising stakeholders on capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Support change management and user enablement efforts, including training, documentation, and onboarding.
• Stay current with Microsoft’s Copilot roadmap and emerging AI capabilities to inform future strategy.
The successful Copilot Engineer/Specialist will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint Copilot, Teams Copilot, and Security Copilot.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure OpenAI, Azure AD, and integration services (e.g., Logic Apps, API Management).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, solution design, and system integration.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• TOGAF or other architecture frameworks
• Expertise in Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft 365 compliance and security, and identity management.
• Experience with Copilot Studio and building custom Copilot agents or plugins.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and integration patterns with enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, data lakes).
• Understanding of prompt engineering, grounding techniques, and responsible AI principles.
