Role description
We are currently recruiting a Customer Master Data Manager to join a leading global Pharmaceutical company. This opportunity offers a chance to lead and shape the Customer Account Management operations within our client’s UK Customer Master Data team, supporting the broader Global Supply Chain with a focus on exceptional customer service and data integrity. As part of the UK GSC Leadership Team, the Customer Master Data Manager will play a pivotal role in developing strategies, overseeing critical processes, and collaborating across functions to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the supply chain and customer data management functions. This is an initial 12 month contract, and can offer hybrid working. The successful candidate can choose to work 2 days p/w on site either from the clients site in Kent, or on the London/Surrey border. Key Duties And Responsibilities Your duties as the Customer Master Data Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: • As the Customer Master Data Manager, you will lead and deliver the end-to-end Customer Account Management operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all customer data in line with evolving business needs and regulations. • As the Customer Master Data Manager, you will develop, implement, and continually refine customer master data strategies and processes to support Pfizer’s distribution, market evolution, and compliance standards. • As the Customer Master Data Manager, you will support and inspire the Customer Master Data team, ensuring the delivery of key performance indicators and alignment with organisational priorities. • As the Customer Master Data Manager, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify needs, resolve escalated issues, and enhance customer data management practices. • As the Customer Master Data Manager, you will oversee technical system interfaces (such as SAP ERP), ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and process improvements. Role Requirements To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Customer Master Data Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Data Management). • Proven experience in pharmaceutical or similar industries, with a solid understanding of supply chain, customer segmentation, and compliance requirements. • Extensive Data Analysis and Data Visualisation skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and form insights. • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience guiding teams and influencing stakeholders.
