Overview
Deloitte is supporting a Tier 1 Global Banking organization on a large-scale cyber transformation programme and is recruiting Cyber Security Data Analytics professionals across Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager and Director level.
This is an exciting opportunity for highly technical professionals with a strong background in cyber security, data analytics, big data and data modelling. Successful candidates will play a key role in developing and enhancing cyber analytics capabilities, leveraging large datasets to identify security risks, improve threat detection and support data-driven security decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain cyber-focused data models and analytics solutions.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify vulnerabilities, threats and security trends.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and analytical models to support cyber security use cases.
• Collaborate with cyber security, engineering and data teams to deliver innovative security analytics solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to improve threat detection and operational security insights.
• Support the development of advanced analytics capabilities within large enterprise environments.
• Build and optimise data solutions using modern big data technologies.
• Contribute to cyber security initiatives focused on emerging technologies, including AI-driven security and vulnerability analysis.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to stakeholders across cyber and technology functions.
• Ensure solutions are delivered to high engineering and security standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong experience within Cyber Security and Data Analytics.
• Proven expertise in data modelling for cyber security, analytics or big data use cases.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting knowledge.
• Experience working with cryptography or Python-based cryptographic libraries.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and/or emerging AI security concepts.
• Experience delivering technical solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Desirable Experience
• Azure Cloud
• Splunk
• Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of modern cyber security frameworks, threat detection and security operations
