Role description
Classification: Contract Contract Length: 12 months Location: Nashville, TN (Onsite) Position Summar yThis role requires contributing to strategic technical direction and system architecture approaches for individual projects and platform migrations. It also requires working closely with others, frequently in a matrixed environment, and with little supervision. This candidate will have a history of increasing responsibility in a small multi-role team. This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with minimal supervision . Responsibiliti β€’ esResponsible for building and supporting a Cloud based ecosystem designed for enterprise-wide analysis of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured da β€’ taDesign the cloud environment data model from a comprehensive perspective, ensuring that it satisfies all the company’s nee β€’ dsDevelop, manage, and own full data lifecycle from raw data acquisition through transformation to end user consumpti β€’ onShare knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabiliti β€’ esMaintain a holistic view of information assets by creating and maintaining artifacts that illustrate how information is stored, processed, and access β€’ edDemonstrate deep understanding and act as a leader in the team’s continuous integration and continuous delivery automation pipeli β€’ neCollaborate with business analysts, project lead, management, and customers on requiremen β€’ tsDesign fit-for-purpose products to ensure products align to the customer's strategic plans and technology road ma β€’ psActively participate in technical group discussions and adopt any new technologies to improve the development and operatio β€’ nsAssist team members with production issues and offer support, guidance, and assist in communicating issues with appropriate stakeholders when necessa r y Requiremen β€’ tsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related fiel β€’ d.8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database desig β€’ n.Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data solutions in enterprise environment β€’ s.Strong background in data governance, metadata management, and data quality framework β€’ s.Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and data architecture framework β€’ s.Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake β€’ ).Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Airflow, Matillion β€’ ).Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra β€’ ).Familiarity with data Lakehouse and modern data stack concept β€’ s.Experience with data integration, APIs, and real-time streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, etc. β€’ ).Knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc. β€’ ).Strong understanding of BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and how they interface with data model β€’ s.Familiarity with DevOps and DataOps practices, including CI/CD for data pipeline s.
