Description:The Cybersecurity Metrics Developer will be responsible for designing and building data-driven solutions that support the cybersecurity metrics and reporting program. This role blends technical development with strategic insight, requiring expertise in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and analytics. The developer will collaborate with cybersecurity product teams, metric owners, and executive stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable dashboards, reports, and automated alerts that provide visibility into cybersecurity performance. They will also support the ongoing evolution of the metrics framework, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and alignment with organizational risk objectives. Success in this role depends on strong SQL, Alteryx, and BI tool proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex data challenges.Job Requirements:
Own the delivery of BI reporting and dashboards from start to finishConvert ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designsPerform data preparation work (e.g., source, scrub, mine, and integrate relevant data sources) needed for the delivery of BI and data visualization solutions.Identify new approaches to complex design problems related to BI and advanced data visualizationDevelop and maintain consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements
Minimum Qualifications:Education & Prior Job Experience; BS in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, related fields, or equivalent experience/training3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large scale business intelligence (BI) and data visualization programs2+ years of experience on Power Apps and Power AutomateExtensive experience in PowerBI developmentDemonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to use computer-based tools and programming languages to implement solutionsExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and multitasking skills
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (MS) in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics2+ yearsβ experience in a technical professional environmentFamiliarity with the airline/travel industryPreference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:R or Python programmingData Mining/Big Data concepts and toolsKnowledge of classification, statistical and machine learning algorithms for predictive and prescriptive analyticsAbility to wrangle data from disparate sources into a comprehensive view of a business problemPrior experience with recommender systems and text mining a plusWorking with structured query language (SQL) database development, SQLAlteryx for ETL data blending preferred; open to candidates with experience in other ETL tools. Includes Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau data visualizationAbility to work very well with an operationally driven business unit in an agile fashionEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization, including senior management highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or governmentSkills are: PowerBI Alteryx or other ETL tools and Effective communication
