Role description
We are hiring for D365 CE DevOps Engineer for our client's project based at London, UK – 3 Days per week Onsite Role Summary: • We are seeking a skilled D365 Customer Engagement (CE) DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and infrastructure for our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform. This role blends DevOps best practices with Microsoft Power Platform knowledge to ensure smooth development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of Dynamics 365 solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 CE using Azure DevOps. • Automate solution export/import, environment provisioning, and configuration deployment across dev/test/prod. • Integrate source control (e.g., Git) for managed/unmanaged solutions and custom components. • Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and solution architects to streamline delivery processes. • Manage Power Platform CLI, PAC (Power Platform ALM) tooling, and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines. • Support release management processes, including rollback plans and deployment schedules. • Ensure infrastructure and deployments follow security, compliance, and governance standards. • Monitor system health, diagnose issues, and implement performance tuning or proactive fixes. • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing across delivery teams. • Stay up to date with Microsoft platform updates and emerging DevOps tools/techniques. Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM (online or on-prem). • Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards. • Experience with source control for Power Platform solutions, including Git branching strategies. • Familiarity with Power Platform CLI, Solution Packager, and ALM best practices. • Strong scripting knowledge: PowerShell, YAML, and possibly Azure CLI. • Understanding of Dataverse, custom connectors, and integration scenarios. • Experience deploying managed/unmanaged solutions across environments. • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing, environment strategies, and API limitations. • Comfortable working in agile/scrum delivery teams. Desirable Skills: • Experience with other components of the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). • Familiarity with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Application Insights). • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, AZ-400, MB-600) are a plus. • Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
