About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with Credit Reporting experience to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to provide clear insights and reports to key stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
This is a hybrid role based in Belfast, Northern Ireland (2–3 days onsite).
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, validate, and manage data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights; perform variance analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to understand reporting needs.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise format for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and best practices in data collection and reporting.
• Support strategic business planning with statistical tools and data models.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in Credit Reporting / CRA reporting within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of data integrity, governance, and compliance requirements.
