Data Analyst 3 - Corporate Accounting & Systems

Job Summary Join the Corporate Accounting team responsible for supporting the general ledger close and consolidation process for a global leader in technology. This team manages the end-to-end close rhythm, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions while driving data governance across a complex SAP environment. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $46.76 - 56.76 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Manage intercompany accounting activities and reconciliations during the monthly close cycle. • Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, including test case execution and result validation. • Maintain general ledger master data and ensure high standards of data governance for financial reporting. • Collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to triage system defects and validate fixes. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 5+ years of experience in accounting close execution and financial impact assessment. 3+ years of proficiency in SAP Finance or similar enterprise accounting systems. 2+ years of experience executing UAT for accounting and finance tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations. Strong proficiency in Power BI for financial reporting. Proven ability to work in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
