About the Company
We are currently seeking an experienced Income Data Analyst to support our client in the Social Housing sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing income-related data across rent collection, arrears management, and benefits processing. You will produce detailed reports and insightful analysis to support the organisation in driving performance improvements and ensuring financial resilience. Working closely with Finance, Housing and Income teams, your expertise will contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of income operations.

Responsibilities
• Analyse large datasets related to rent accounts, arrears trends, and payment behaviours.
• Identify and forecast income risks and arrears patterns to support targeted interventions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Prepare data submissions for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Strong background in data analysis within the Social Housing or public sector.
• Solid understanding of income streams in housing, including Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, service charges and rent collection processes.
• Proficient in data manipulation and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI or equivalent.
• Experience with housing management systems (e.g. Northgate, Capita, Civica or similar).
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
