Data Analyst
Location: Montvale, NJ
Employment Type: 3-6 Month Contract
Compensation: $29-$35/hr

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support the accuracy, integrity, and usability of key business data within SAP and other internal systems. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining material, customer, and pricing master data that supports day-to-day operations and broader strategic initiatives across the company.
Responsibilities:
β’ Maintain and update customer, material, and pricing master data
β’ Verify accuracy and perform corrections to ensure clean, reliable data
β’ Conduct regular data cleansing, validation, and quality checks
β’ Support new product setup and proper data coding
β’ Communicate pricing and program updates to internal teams
β’ Provide reporting support (lists, mailing files, operational reports, etc.)
β’ Troubleshoot data discrepancies and recommend solutions
β’ Maintain internal tables and data authorizations within SAP
β’ Support online tools or portals by ensuring accurate product and customer data
β’ Contribute to SOP documentation and assist in training team members
β’ Identify opportunities to improve data processes and workflows
β’ Maintain compliance with internal controls and data governance standards
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
β’ 2β5 years of relevant experience in data management or master data
β’ Experience working with SAP is a strong plus
β’ Strong understanding of data quality, data structure, and data governance
β’ High level of accuracy and attention to detail
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
β’ Ability to train or support colleagues in data processes
β’ Proactive mindset with interest in improving systems and workflows
