Role description
Top 3 Skill Sets Desired: AWS Services, Data Mapping Experience, Data Design Experience Location: Charlotte W2 ONLY (Cannot accommodate to C2C or 1099) As part of the Nuclear Information Technology (NIT) organization this position will be an integral part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, energetic, and high performing team environment at the heart of the Nuclear business unit’s digital transformation. They will be on the forefront of the expansion of Nuclear’s advanced software capabilities. These technology initiatives are critical to enabling our business partners to realize efficiencies and cost saving across the entire Nuclear Fleet. This position is for an experienced Data Analyst that will work on the EcoSys Project and be engaged in mapping the integrations of various on-prem financial and project management systems with an external vendor solution. The work requires not only feeding the vendor solution but reworking existing solutions in the same subject area. Applicants should be self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who possess the desired qualifications in this requisition and who work well in a collaborative environment. Required Skills: β€’ Four (4) or more years designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-scale databases β€’ Four (4) or more years of experience in data warehouse architecture β€’ Four (4) or more years in Both SQL Server and Oracle Databases β€’ Two (2) or more years SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) β€’ Excellent customer service, requirements gathering, and data analysis skills β€’ Excellent analytical abilities and documentation skills β€’ Proficient in handling both real-time and batch data processing tasks β€’ Proficient in Advanced features of Microsoft Excel β€’ Power BI and SSRS Additional Desired Skills: β€’ Experience with PostGres and Redshift databases in AWS β€’ Experience using REST APIs using Glue and/or Lambdas β€’ AWS experience using one or more of the associated services - S3, EMR, Glue Jobs, Lambda, Aurora, CloudWatch β€’ Python, NodeJS β€’ Workflow Automation β€’ Experience transitioning on premise platforms into cloud-based platforms β€’ Experience with Kafka/Messaging preferably Confluent Kafka β€’ Experience with Event Driven Architecture
