Location : Morristown, NJ ( Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite )

Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative person to support data driven initiatives within Investment Operations. This role will focus on understanding and supporting front-to-back data flows, configuring systems, modernizing manual processes, and supporting regulatory-driven changes. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise and a passion for continuous improvement, proactively seeking information. In time, the right candidate will serve as a subject matter expert during system enhancements and process improvements.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Partner with business, technology, and regulatory teams to support data needs and communicate operational changes that impact data consumers.
• Ensure adherence to Data Governance policies by maintaining documentation, defining Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and supporting data issue remediation.
• Manage and configure static data sets to maintain accuracy, consistency, and proper operational controls.
• Oversee dynamic data processes including pricing, factor, and position data by ensuring proper feed consumption and investigating anomalies.
• Support data vendor management by validating usage, maintaining relationships, and contributing to contract renewal discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data stewards, to ensure appropriate data quality controls are designed, implemented, and monitored to maintain accuracy and completeness of internal and external data.
• Assist in the documentation of data lineage flows.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, reducing manual overrides, and enhancing data accuracy across processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with an emphasis on data analytics.
• 3 years of investment operations support experience, preferably in banking, hedge fund, or asset management is a plus
• General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. Fixed Income, FX, OTC Derivatives) and trade life cycle
• Confident working with all levels of seniority within the organization
• Self-starter with an emphasis on organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
• Comfortable asking questions, challenging existing processes and suggesting potential improvements
• Knowledge of Murex, Aladdin, Chatham, Clearwater, Bloomberg, and Collibra
• Working with speed & accuracy and prioritizing requests
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, with SQL knowledge beneficial.
