Data Analyst

Overview This position involves working on fraud mitigation initiatives within the financial/banking industry, focusing on fraud analysis for deposit fraud. The analyst will serve as the main point of contact for data analysis related to a fraud mitigation model, collaborating with modeling teams to enhance real-time fraud detection capabilities. The role requires close communication with senior management, technical teams, and the product owner to determine data requirements and implement best practices for data manipulation, storage, and analysis. Key Responsibilities Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications Required Skills Experience with database technologies Knowledge of the ETL process Knowledge of at least one scripting language SQL (Structured Query Language) Preferred Skills Python Hadoop Strong written and oral communication skills Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Demonstrated history of success Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions Required Education Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience #INDGEN #ZR
