Role description
Contract Data Analyst - Outside IR35 - £550 per day
Location: London (2 days per week in office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a globally operating organisation and support the delivery of enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Data, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a global Single Source of Truth (SSOT) model. Working closely with the Global Data Team and Senior Data Architect, as well as cross-functional subject matter experts across CRM, Marketing, Product, and Revenue functions, you will help ensure scalable, accurate, and high-quality data solutions that drive meaningful business insight.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys translating complex business requirements into structured, reliable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with senior data stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements for global SSOT data models, with a focus on revenue and consolidated CRM reporting.
• Review and assess existing data pipelines and flows, identifying opportunities to optimise, streamline, and standardise data management processes across regions.
• Support the design and implementation of scalable data models and integration solutions, validating data structures with stakeholders.
• Facilitate working sessions with subject matter experts across CRM, Marketing, and Product to ensure reporting outputs align with organisational objectives.
• Document data definitions, lineage, and business rules to strengthen governance and enable smooth onboarding of users and teams.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process diagrams, and decision logs.
• Support the delivery of data projects by tracking milestones, identifying technical risks, and ensuring solutions meet agreed standards and requirements.
Skills & Experience
We welcome transferable skills from a range of industries. If you meet most of the essential criteria, we encourage you to apply.
Essential
• Proven experience in data analysis roles within analytics-driven projects, including hands-on data preparation, exploration, and validation.
• Ability to translate complex business questions into actionable data requirements and analytical outputs.
• Experience collaborating effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical documentation (e.g., data dictionaries, process diagrams, decision logs).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Desirable
• Experience working with CRM, CDP, or marketing datasets, with an understanding of customer data flows and segmentation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and solid understanding of data modelling principles.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management practices.
• Experience using business intelligence or data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights effectively.
If you are passionate about data quality, scalable analytics solutions, and delivering meaningful business insight within a global environment, we would welcome your application.
