Job Description:
A large retail/e-commerce client is looking to bring on a temporary resource to support a team with Customs and Trade Compliance activities. This role will primarily focus on data intensive work and analytical support as we manage ongoing compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate does not need prior customs or trade compliance experience. However, strong data management skills are critical, particularly advanced or highly proficient in Excel capabilities. This individual should be comfortable working with large data sets, adapting quickly to shifting facts or priorities, and maintaining accuracy under changing conditions.
Beyond technical skills, the most important competency is mindset. We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys problem‑solving, and is willing to dig into complex issues to find practical solutions. In terms of role alignment, this position is most comparable to a Customs Specialist, with an emphasis on analytical and operational support rather than regulatory expertise.
