Data Analyst

Data Analyst Location: Birmingham, AL Are you passionate about digging into data to uncover meaningful insights that drive business decisions? We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of a fast-paced, impact-driven organization. In this role, you'll go far beyond basic reporting—you’ll be hands-on with complex data sets, using your technical expertise and critical thinking skills to generate actionable insights, influence strategic initiatives, and support performance measurement. • What You’ll Do:Analyze data to identify key insights, performance trends, and opportunities for growth or improvement • Prepare and transform large datasets from multiple sources using advanced SQL and other tools • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics dashboards • Evaluate ROI of strategic initiatives and support business case development with data-driven evidence • Monitor and forecast risk scores and other operational metrics • Translate complex findings into clear, concise recommendations and communicate them to cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand objectives and deliver analytical solutions aligned with strategic goals • What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, with strong emphasis on strategic analysis • Advanced SQL skills (including writing complex queries, joining large datasets, data transformations, etc.) • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting data and identifying trends • Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Why Join Us: This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your work directly informs key decisions and helps shape the future of our business.
