Role description
Responsibilities Kforce is immediately seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Developer to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Tableau solutions. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure data visualization solutions meet business needs and contribute to overall system quality and consistency. Responsibilities: β€’ Design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs, with a focus on Tableau-based solutions β€’ Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents β€’ Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing constructive feedback β€’ Collaborate effectively with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency across all projects β€’ Participate actively in architecture, design, and code reviews to maintain high standards β€’ Develop and maintain comprehensive operational and system-level documentation β€’ Follow the company's software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field β€’ 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data visualization and Tableau development; Tableau expertise is required β€’ Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) β€’ Experience in designing, developing, and testing data visualization solutions β€’ Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical and system documentation β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment β€’ Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and implemented solutions Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience with (specific databases, e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake) β€’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes β€’ Familiarity with (other BI tools, e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus β€’ Experience with (specific programming languages, e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation or scripting The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
