Role description
We’re Hiring: System Data Analyst (Long-Term Contract) Location: Smithfield, RI (Hybrid – 2 weeks onsite, 2 weeks remote) Duration: Long-Term Contract We’re seeking a highly motivated System Data Analyst to join our agile development squad. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex data environments and want to take part in shaping enterprise-wide data platforms. What You’ll Do β€’ Partner with product owners, developers, and cross-functional squads to design and deliver enterprise data solutions. β€’ Gather and translate business requirements into data specifications and actionable designs. β€’ Perform deep data analysis, source-to-target data mapping, and documentation of use cases. β€’ Build, maintain, and enhance data platforms, data lakes, and large-scale enterprise databases. β€’ Contribute to solution design, production rollout, and ongoing support of back-end data systems. Must-Have Skills Expert-level SQL (daily hands-on data work) Python scripting Source-to-Target Data Mapping experience Strong Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling, Star Schemas) Hands-on with Snowflake Experience working on back-end database projects Preferred Experience & Attributes β€’ 8+ years working on business-critical, enterprise-wide data applications. β€’ Strong experience with ETL projects. β€’ Exposure to database platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3. β€’ Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies. β€’ Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. β€’ Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Strong collaboration skills to work in a fast-paced, cross-team environment.
