Jr to Mid Level Business Analyst Smithfield RI Rate of $40-$43ph Seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing Defined Benefits organization. The Purpose of the is primarily focused on supporting client implementations and corporate actions. The ideal candidate will lead the effort to convert a client’s data into their architecture. The candidate must be proficient in analysis, systems analysis and implementation analysis capabilities and be able to work between multiple implementations and constantly evolving client requirements. The Team The Defined Benefit organization provides companies with the expertise and convenience of a single provider to administer their DB plans which promises to pay specified pension payment lump-sum or combination thereof on benefits to participants at retirement that is predetermined by a formula based on the employee's earnings history tenure of service and age rather than depending directly on individual investment returns. For administering these DB plans our team plays a key role in converting data from the prior record keeper to systems.. As part of these implementations we get along with Clients Prior record keepers and internal business/operations partners. The Expertise You Have Proven ability in a analysis role minimum 5-7 years experience Strong analytical and communication skills as well as a solid grasp of the organizational structure supporting implementation and ongoing projects. Strong SQL skills to query and script in data. Data Exchange knowledge and analysis skills to lead execute or assist on all assigned work throughout the project examples of projects: implementation of a new client or Corporate Actions Defined Benefits knowledge required The Skills You Bring Excellent analysis skills preferably data analysis skills are required Solid experience with query languages such as SQL Experience with ETL Tools i.e. Informatica is a plus Should have proven general experience programming languages and relational databases Excellent oral and written communication skills Work optimally as a team member Demonstrate solid leadership skills are highly organized self-motivated with strong time management skills and an ability to handle various tasks simultaneously Ability to thrive in a matrix-managed environment across multiple locations and functions Broad application/technology experience is a plus
