About the Role Concord is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to lead the delivery of data platform and analytics initiatives for one of our key clients in the energy sector. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Databricks and Azure data services with proven experience managing onshore and offshore delivery teams. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that all data initiatives are executed efficiently, aligned with business goals, and meet enterprise governance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of cost-optimized data platform solutions, including data pipeline development and deployment. Oversee the implementation of analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. Partner with the Data Governance team to ensure adherence to Data Quality, Lineage, and Data Cleansing standards. Drive collaboration across matrixed teams, providing regular delivery and risk updates to senior and executive stakeholders. Identify and proactively manage delivery risks and issues to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. Enforce adherence to delivery methodologies, governance processes, and quality standards. Coordinate multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment and integration across teams. Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, Developers, and QA to remove delivery roadblocks. Ensure technical solutions align with enterprise architecture and integration standards. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering data platforms using Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Hands-on experience in data pipeline development and cost optimization. Experience guiding the creation and maintenance of semantic models for analytical reporting. Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, particularly Customer and Product Hub. Exposure to data governance tools and practices, including Data Quality, Lineage, and Data Glossary. Strong technical acumen to participate in and validate architectural and design discussions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive reporting. Proven problem-solving and decision-making ability, with a proactive approach to risk management.
