Data Analyst

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Data Analyst for our client, the world’s leading charity auction platform in New York! This is a long-term contract position offering a hybrid schedule in Manhattan. POSITION OVERVIEW Design, develop, and maintain critical reporting infrastructure that informs strategic decisions throughout the organization. Turn complex, multi-source data into actionable insights via dashboards and reports, primarily using Tableau, Salesforce, and the evolving data ecosystem. This high-visibility role will position you at the intersection of technical implementation and strategic influence. PERKS • Competitive hourly rate of $55-70/hr (depending on experience) • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • Be part of a major platform modernization with cutting-edge tech RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, build, and maintain impactful Tableau dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and campaign stakeholders. • Develop and upkeep Salesforce reports/dashboards across Sales Cloud and custom objects (Opportunities, Lots, Bids, Accounts). • Collaborate with Salesforce admins to surface KPIs related to auction activity, donor engagement, and fundraising metrics. • Manage and troubleshoot Celigo flows connecting AWS Redshift, Salesforce, NetSuite, and other third-party platforms, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Collaborate with engineering teams on designing new data integration pipelines as our platform evolves. • Normalize and connect data sources from platforms including Klaviyo, Algolia, BigQuery, payment processors, and others. • Build blended datasets in Tableau or BI layers for cross-platform analysis. • Own documentation of data schemas, entity relationships, data lineage, and definitions. QUALIFICATIONS • 3+ years of experience in data or BI analysis • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Server (or Cloud) with proven experience in delivery of production dashboards • Hands-on experience in Salesforce reports/dashboards, with basic SOQL capabilities • Strong SQL skills (MySQL, Redshift, or similar) • Experience with Celigo or comparable iPaaS/ETL platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato) • Ability to integrate and normalize data from multiple SaaS platforms and APIs • Excellent documentation skills, able to clearly explain data schemas and business logic • Salesforce Administrator, Tableau Desktop Specialist or Data Analyst certification a plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS This contract position offers an hourly rate of $55-70/hr, commensurate with experience.
