Job Title: Data Insights & Automation Analyst – Contractor
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Insights & Automation Analyst (Contractor) to support our Program Management team in delivering high-impact data solutions and automating business workflows. This role combines strong analytical capabilities, automation expertise, and program management skills to ensure projects are executed on time and aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI.
• Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows that move data between Power BI, SharePoint lists, Excel files, and other systems (e.g., Salesforce exports, manual CSVs).
• Implement and support approval workflows (L1/L2/VP), notifications, and data-capture processes tied to tracking dashboards.
• Work with the Power BI owner to translate reporting needs into automated data pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot flow failures, performance issues, and data mismatches; document fixes and harden flows for scale and reliability.
• Create and maintain clear documentation (flow diagrams, field mappings, naming conventions).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support ongoing data quality and governance initiatives.
• Present findings and automation outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Apply program management principles to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and escalate risks proactively.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud flows) and Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of SharePoint lists, Excel/CSV data handling, and basic data modeling concepts.
• Ability to read and work with Power Query (M) and simple DAX is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience in program management: planning, tracking, and reporting on project milestones and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Prior experience in a tech or semiconductor environment is a plus.
