Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Max Pay rate: $50/hr on W2

We leverage behavioral intelligence to monitor performance and drive smarter decision-making. By creatively interpreting both existing and emerging data sources, applying advanced analytical techniques, and aligning insights with strategic initiatives, we deliver impactful and measurable results.
Our team is highly multidisciplinary, combining diverse industry experience with deep analytical and quantitative expertise. We are looking for a high-energy, collaborative professional with strong problem-solving abilities to help advance our risk analytics capabilities, generate actionable insights, and enhance data visualization to support our evolving risk management roadmap.
This is a data-intensive, analytically driven role. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, strategic thinker, and execution-focused problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will work cross-functionally, tackling complex challenges, defining problems, and partnering closely with product and classification teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of ownership and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Risk Insights:
• Analyze large datasets—including incidents, near misses, and portfolio performance—to uncover actionable insights and improve risk controls.
• Design & Implement Risk Policies:
• Support the development and deployment of risk frameworks addressing credit risk, fraud prevention, product and portfolio risks, access policies, limits, and fund availability.
• Monitor & Optimize Risk Strategies:
• Evaluate the performance of existing risk strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance policy effectiveness, operational processes, and outcomes.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with global stakeholders to design and implement scalable risk management solutions across the customer lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or a related field
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Experience with Tableau or similar tools to build insightful, self-service dashboards
• Working knowledge of Python is a plus; familiarity with machine learning is an added advantage
• Prior experience in risk, fintech, banking, or e-commerce is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Risk Management, or a related discipline
